As Rightside’s General Counsel, Rick oversees all legal matters and initiatives across the organization. Prior to managing the legal components of Rightside’s transformation into an independent company, Rick was Demand Media’s SVP, Assistant General Counsel, and was responsible for managing all legal issues related to its domain name services businesses since 2009. Rick has held senior legal positions at Nokia, Yahoo, and Broadcast.com before its acquisition by Yahoo.

Matt articulates and executes Rightside’s strategic initiatives while ensuring the company’s capital and resource investments are effectively aligned with its vision and business goals. Matt has been a member of the domain services team since Demand Media announced the spin-off of its domain services business, and he managed the various operational efforts that led to Rightside becoming a standalone public company. He previously served as VP, Operations and Director, Corporate Finance for Demand Media, and was a key member on several capital raising and corporate development projects, including the company’s IPO in 2011.

Jeff oversees Rightside's growth as a domain services industry leader as well as the company’s relationship with ICANN. With more than 10 years of experience in the domain name industry, Jeff is a founding board member of the Domain Name Association (DNA) as well as a member of the executive committee of the Registrar Stakeholder group. Prior to joining the company, Jeff served as Director at register.com, and he once worked on Wall Street in what seems to him like another lifetime.

Statton is responsible for guiding Rightside on business, legal, and policy matters related to its registry operations. Prior to joining Rightside, Statton spent five years with Network Solutions as Sr. Director of Law and Policy, where he provided legal and strategic business advice related to the protection of intellectual property rights, Internet governance, data security and privacy, and compliance with ICANN policies related to the provisioning, sale, and use of domain names. Prior to Network Solutions, Statton was the Assistant General Counsel at LCC International, a publicly traded global telecommunications engineering company based in Washington, DC.

Prior to joining the Rightside team, Wayne served in various senior management positions within the domain name industry, including as CTO of Momentous, a Canadian domain name services company. Wayne also served as Executive Director for the DNS Operations, Analysis, and Research Center (DNS-OARC), an industry trade group.

Taryn joined Rightside in 2006 as an executive advisor to the eNom management team before taking a full-time position to drive business and product development strategy and corporate growth. Among the many hats he now wears as CEO, he leads the teams responsible for establishing Rightside’s strategy for acquiring gTLD registry operator rights, building the technology platform, and establishing and implementing domestic and international business operations. Prior to joining Rightside, he was the CEO of Pool.com, where he began with the domain marketplace company as an engineer and worked his way up to become president and ultimately, CEO.

Matt leads Rightside’s monetization and premium domain sales business. Matt previously served as General Manager of NameJet, establishing it as the premier auction marketplace in the domain name industry. He has also managed specialized sales efforts for five of the web’s top 10 registrars. Prior to joining Rightside, Matt held positions at Hotkeys and McCann Erickson in Seattle.

Dave has served in several senior roles with Rightside and Demand Media since 2008, including Executive Vice President of Emerging Markets, Chief Strategy Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer. He has been an integral part of the team responsible for the strategy for acquiring generic top level domain (gTLD) registry operator rights in ICANN's new gTLD program and for establishing and implementing business operations to support Rightside's registry operations, both domestically and internationally. Dave is an entrepreneur with 25 years of early stage software company and venture capital experience. He holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Furman University.
